Support Staff: Calling in the Reinforcements
"Being able to affect the lives of campers was a constant, amazing thing. Just knowing that I was being used in such a way was stretching but also an awesome experience." - Emily Roby, Laundry Girl
Skyview is all about service and using the gifts God has given us to accomplish His mission for our lives. If you have a burden to reach people for Christ, but aren't sure how to accomplish this task, check out the jobs available at Skyview Ranch.

Grit Hogs Grit-what? That's a common reaction to this name for the guys who keep Skyview running on all eight cylinders. Whether it's mowing the lawns, baling hay, cleaning bathrooms or loading luggage, these guys are responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of Skyview Ranch. More recently the Grithogs were some of the hardest workers on the new Pavilion Project. If you've ever had the urge to drive a tractor or enjoy the smell of diesel fuel, this job might be for you. |
Kitchen Girls If you are a fan of food, then you'd be a fan of the kitchen girls. They keep the food coming, the dishes clean and the fountain machine flowing at all times to make sure campers stay properly fed, hydrated and sugared up during the camp week. This job is for those who take great joy in making people smile through the ministry of food and fellowship. |

Lifeguards With activities like pool time, the Blob, the Super Slide, the Water Trampoline and Paddle Boating, we at Skyview place a lot of value on water safety. That is why we hire Life Guards to make sure everyone stays safe and has fun while cooling off during the hot summer months. To be a Life Guard, you need to be officially certified, have great observation skills and strictly observe the second most important rule at Skyview: No peeing in the pool. |
Wranglers One of the best parts about Skyview Ranch is its horses, all 32 of them. The Wranglers, led by Lisa Jamison, are in charge of leading cabins out on trail rides, cleaning the barn and taking care of the horses. If your knowledge about horses and horseback riding goes beyond the occasional ride on the quarter machine at your local grocery store, then this might be a good job for you. |

Supporting Cast Aside from the areas of expertise mentioned above, we need several other positions filled to keep Skyview running well and tasting good. We need someone to make sure the Ranch Store stays stocked and organized so that campers can go home with both a sugar buzz and a Skyview T-shirt. Office assistants help keep the paper work from overloading the fulltime staff during the busyness of the summer. Whatever your gifts or talents, we have a place for you. |
