Covered Wagon Cabins
Introducing the Wild West!
During the first half of the 19th century, an estimated 296,000 men, women and children made the long hard trek on the Oregon Trail. The trail led from Missouri to Oregon, with different branches taking settlers to California, Montana and Utah. This was a risky journey. There were no phones, no telegraph lines and no railroads connecting the young American nation. Wagon trains of several families banded together during the early spring to risk the 1,600 mile long journey from Missouri to Oregon and the West Coast. Their wagons were their storehouses and their homes on the trip, carrying all their stored up potential for a new life out West.
Here at the Ranch, we've caught onto that great idea. We are building Covered Wagon Cabins modeled after those first Conestoga Wagons, each able to house 7 campers and one counselor. These are fun. These cabins will hold all the potential for a new life in Jesus Christ, as our campers experience first hand the beauty of God's creation just outside the front door.
We are excited about the addition of these mobile facilities, but what's more, we are excited for the decisions that will be made in these brand new cabins.
So join us in praying for all the campers that will stay in these cabins this summer, that their lives wil be changed as they start their own great journeys following after God's plan for them.
