Skyview Ranch exists to serve and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by primarily serving as a supporting arm of local churches for the presentation of God’s Truth for the purpose of evangelizing, discipling, and motivating individuals to return and serve the Lord. A Brief History of Skyview Ranch In 1969, Skyview Boy’s Camp was purchased from three members of the Cleveland Browns football team by the OARBC and became known as Skyview Ranch. It was "Dedicated to Reaching Youth to the Glory of God" May 30th, 1969. The verse of dedication was Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." The focus of the camp has been to change lives with a program that integrates the Word of God into the daily program. With a philos ophy based on I John 1:3, the trained staff presents the gospel message in a program designed to build friendships. These friendships then lead campers to a relationship with God the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ. The summer camping ministry has consistently been a tool of God to touch young lives with the importance of knowing and pleasing God. In addition to a very busy summer schedule serving 1,300 youth each summer, Skyview Ranch also serves 2,900 people in the retreat season through retreats held annually for men, women, teens, senior saints, and other Christian groups.
