This new camp is entering its third year, and it has officially become a camper favorite! 6th graders come for a week of adventure that includes hand feeding giraffes, evening horse trails, sleeping under the stars, outdoor cooking and outdoor chapels.

Pioneer campers stay at Pioneer Park, where ten Covered Wagons serve as their home away from home for the week. Each cabin sleeps 7 campers and one counselor, and is equipped with electricity and its own ventilation system. Pioneer camp will combine the adventure of wilderness camp with the safety and warmth of our normal residential camps.

Activities:

A trip to The Farm at Walnut Creek to feed giraffes, zebras, lemurs and many other awesome animals from around the world
Camping under the Stars
Breakfast cooked over and open fire
