Gary's Favorite Passage: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 - "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is no proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hope, always perseveres. Love never fails."

Director of Programming
Matt has been serving at SVR since early 2016, and has been serving in camp ministry for over eight years. He is married to his wife Stephanie, and they are joined by their dog, Ronin, a Rodesian Ridgeback. Matt is from Flint, Michigan, and after completing his high school years at Powers Catholic High School, Matt spent some time at Baptist Bible College of PA before going into full-time camp ministry. As our resident director of fun, Matt enjoys his free time through climbing, firearms, and tabletop gaming.
Matt's Favorite Passage: 2 Cor 12:8-10 - "Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

Courtney has been serving SVR since 2019. Courtney has four years of experience in the ministry, and has previously served as summer staff at SVR. She is married to her husband Todd, and comes from Hollansburg, OH. Courtney also has an Ohio RN License as of 2018, after her graduation from Indiana University East, with a B.S. in Nursing. Courtney's Favorite Passage: Esther 4:14 - "For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
Todd has been serving at SVR since 2015, from summer staff member, to apprentice, and finally full-time staff. Todd has eleven years of ministry in camp, which is where he met his wife, Courtney. Todd's hometown is Manistee, MI, and Todd has received a B.S. in Youth Ministry from Grace College, class of 2015. Outside of work, Todd enjoys building, Disc Golf, and hammocking, as well as spending time with his many pets, Gunner (English Shepherd), Gracie (Cavashon), Archie (Painted Turtle), and Poppy & Daisy (Pioneer program bunnies).
Todd's Favorite Passage: Proverbs 20:24 - "A person’s steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand their own way?"
Corey has been serving at SVR since 2018, with over twenty years of wrangling experience under his belt. He is married to his wife Breanna and has three children, Hannah, Marshal, and Emersyn. Corey and his family came all the way from Bigfork, MT, and have previously spent time in youth work and with equine. Outside of taking care of the herd, the Hull family also has two dogs, Belle and Brantley. Corey loves spending his time hunting, fishing, shooting, and being with his family.
Corey's favorite passage: James 1:19-27 - "My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
Dustin has been serving at SVR since 2019, and is married to his wife Allison. Dustin has served in camp ministry for eight years, previously working at camps in Michigan.
